A graduate of Mass Communication from Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic, Eruwa, he combines solid academic training with extensive practical media experience.
Although he officially began his radio career in 2023, Mubarak’s journey into media and broadcasting dates back to 2018, when he started building foundational knowledge and hands-on experience in journalism and broadcasting.
During his tertiary education, he served as a reporter with the Association of Student Communicators (ASCOM), where he was actively involved in news gathering, campus reporting, interviews, and field assignments. This experience significantly strengthened his reportorial discipline, newsroom ethics, and confidence as a practicing journalist.
Mubarak is widely recognized for his strong reportorial and investigative skills, with proven ability in news writing, field reporting, conducting interviews, moderating discussions, and undercover reporting when required. His work reflects a commitment to accuracy, balance, and public-interest journalism, as well as the ability to engage diverse audiences through compelling storytelling.
He currently works with Family FM 88.5, Abeokuta, where he performs multiple roles including radio presenting, studio management, voiceover delivery and scriptwriting. In these capacities, he contributes to smooth studio operations, engaging programming and content that informs, educates, and entertains listeners. His versatility allows him to transition seamlessly between on-air presentation, behind-the-scenes coordination and field reporting.
In recognition of his dedication, consistency and outstanding professional performance, Mubarak was awarded Staff of the Quarter (July–September 2024), a testament to his work ethic, reliability and excellence within the organization.
Beyond broadcast journalism, Mubarak is also a writer and published author on Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP), where he creates and distributes written works, further extending his reach and influence beyond the airwaves. His passion for writing complements his broadcast career and reinforces his identity as a multi-platform storyteller.
