Accord Stakeholders Meet in Ibarapa Central/North, Reaffirm Support for Ramoni, party candidates.


Stakeholders and leaders of the Accord Party across Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Federal Constituency have held a constituency stakeholders’ meeting to review the party’s activities at the grassroots and discuss preparations for the 2027 general elections.

The meeting, hosted by Hon. Nureni Ajibola Ramoni, an aspirant for the Oyo State House of Assembly, brought together party leaders, ward executives, youth and women leaders, and other stakeholders from communities across the two local government areas.

The meeting provided an opportunity for representatives from various wards to present reports on the progress recorded so far, as well as challenges confronting the party at the grassroots. Key issues discussed included the need for sustained mobilisation of party members, strengthening the party’s structures across the wards, maintaining unity among stakeholders and addressing other challenges that could affect the party’s activities ahead of the 2027 elections.

In their various contributions, ward and community representatives highlighted the progress made through ongoing grassroots engagements and mobilisation efforts. They also expressed their commitment to strengthening the party’s presence across Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North.

The stakeholders, in the course of the meeting, reaffirmed their commitment to the Accord Party and pledged their support for Hon. Nureni Ajibola Ramoni and other Accord candidates in the 2027 general elections.

Presiding over the meeting, the Ibarapa North Accord Party Chairman, Mr. Kolawole Tajudeen, appreciated the stakeholders and contributors for their participation and urged members to remain united, committed and hopeful. He subsequently addressed some of the challenges raised by ward representatives, with particular attention to the mobilisation and coordination of party members at the grassroots.

The Oyo State Financial Secretary of the Accord Party, Mr. Jesugbemi Taiwo, also briefed the gathering on developments within the party at the state level. He stated that the party leadership was working to strengthen its structures and coordinate its activities across the state ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Mr. Taiwo encouraged stakeholders at the constituency and ward levels to remain committed to the party while working together towards the collective objectives of the Accord Party.

The host of the meeting, Hon. Nureni Ajibola Ramoni, thanked the party leaders and stakeholders for their participation and contributions. He emphasised the importance of grassroots engagement, unity and effective coordination among party members in preparation for the forthcoming elections.

The meeting ended with a renewed call for greater cooperation among party leaders and members across Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North, with stakeholders reiterating their commitment to the Accord Party and their stated support for Hon. Nureni Ajibola Ramoni and other candidates of the party.
