Odeleti Michael Ayomide, is a fresh graduate of Medical Laboratory Science from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, Oyo State, and a native of Eruwa town in Ibarapa East Local Government Area of Oyo state.
He possesses a solid academic background and a strong interest in communication and intellectual engagement beyond the laboratory setting.
During his undergraduate studies, he was actively involved in student leadership and academic representation. He served as the Director of Press of the Nigeria Medical Laboratory Science Students’ Association (NIMELSSA), LAUTECH Chapter, during the 2023/2024 administration, where he was responsible for information dissemination, media coordination, and strengthening communication between the association and its members.
He also served as the Editor-in-Chief of the annual NIMELSSA LAUTECH Magazine, themed “The Lens” (2024/2025). In this role, he led the editorial team, oversaw content development and review, and coordinated the publication process, ensuring the magazine reflected professionalism, creativity, and student perspectives within the medical laboratory science community.
His academic journey is marked by notable achievements. He was a recipient of the "Award of Academic Excellence (Clinical Arm)" in 2023, presented by the Nigeria Medical Laboratory Science Students’ Association(NIMELSSA).
In 2024, he received the Nigerian Medical Laboratory Science Students' Association(NIMELSSA) South-West Regional Award for the "Most Promising Student", in recognition of his academic performance, leadership qualities, and commitment to professional growth. He also emerged as the First Runner-Up at the Annual College Debate in 2025, highlighting his strengths in critical thinking, articulation, and public speaking.
Beyond his scientific training, he has a strong and genuine interest in communication and literary works. He is particularly drawn to writing, editing, debate, and the effective use of language as a tool for education, advocacy, and leadership. This interest complements his scientific background and reflects his ability to bridge healthcare knowledge with effective communication.
